Bringing you great tasting, convenient and nutritious fruit leaves its mark. Our processing and transportation result in carbon emissions and at Bare Fruit we are taking responsibility for our actions. We have reduced our Carbon Footprint through the choices we make and then we offset the rest! We are fully Carbon Neutral since Summer of 2012. What¹s next? We have a vision to positively impact the environment with our sustainability initiatives in 2013.
Despite all our efforts to minimize our footprint, we can only achieve 100% neutrality through proactive efforts. In 2012 Bare Fruit partnered with Good Company (www.goodcompany.com) to conduct a supply chain analysis of our products and to offset our carbon footprint by 100%. We have partnered with Wildlife Works Carbon in their incredible efforts to develop the Kasigau Wildlife Corridor Reduction in Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) Project.
Bare Fruit is on the cutting edge of the virtual workplace. Today’s web environment has allowed us to work locally wherever we are – decentralizing office space and reducing commuter miles by 83,000 miles in 2013. That’s 37 tons of CO2! And by going virtual and utilizing Software as a Service (SaaS), Bare Fruit reduces consumption and improves resource utilization.
